LOVE !!!! :)

jealous! haha- but he is good!!love

i’m a PLUMBER!.. well kinda

so i went to take a shower

ALAS- the taps were broken- so no water was coming out.

1st thought: GAH! WHYYYYYYYY!!!?

2nd thought: Laughter “omygod- u just gotta laugh”

3rd thought: Anger ” F&*^% all this cheap s*(&^”

4rth thought: Laziness ” Im going to avoid this by going on facebook”

5th thought: Overwhelmed “Now i have to call my landlord, and organize a time for him to come and fix it, that means i have to reschedule my laundry time, cleaning time, meet this person at another time…”

6th thought: GRAB A HAMMER AND FIX IT YOURSELF

So i grab a hammer and proceed to smash the tap handles with all my might- hoping that something would happen. Nothing did.

Next step—> Google

and if you entered my appartment this is what you would have seen:

ME- cursing like a sailor, in my boxers, with a flower imprinted hammer (mom’s hammer that she gave to me), smashing the heck out of the taps, then googling how to fix the error- realizing the hammer was my downfall and probably did more bad then good, replace hammer with screw diver= MUCH more effective, a few squeals from the fright of sudden gushing water, a few more curses, and some airborne plumbing hardware- and SHABAM- problem fixed.

i can now take a shower again.

Note from Ron: This is what always confuses me about Mac people. This machine is sub-par in damn near every way. I find it almost impossible to believe that this is current. It’s like a screenshot of a 3 year old laptop deal. Spending $1000 bucks to get a new low end machine?
Apple doesn’t make the components which compute and those are the same as PC components. They make the OS and the case. Apple has some of the highest profit margins of any company in the world. No really. I often laugh when I see reports on evil companies with high profit margins when I know the person who wrote it was likely making the post via a Mac.
When it comes to cost, Apple people really live in bizarro world.

but by macbook pro looks so pretty and its fairly small

and the side panel for my computer is somewhere in my closet, cost me about $350 and is at least 3-5x more powerful than that MacBook. Oh, and I have a 24/7 battery, it is called an outlet.

Hopping on the Mac hate-wagon.
Sitting in Poli-sci today, I took a look around: every single person in a class of about 350 kids had a laptop. At least 85% of those were Mac. Just to see for sure, I scanned the Bluetooth connections in the room - sure enough, only 2 out of about 20 available connections were PC laptops, and not Macs.
And what were they doing on their Macs that was so special, and unique to Mac? Playing (shitty, old) flash games, and talking to people on Facebook. What was I doing? Torrenting free porn on UofG Wi-Fi, and writing satirical comments about the prof’s ineptitude.
Maybe that’s the difference.

WTF? Why do people stereotype others based on their goddamn operating systems? Who gives a shit? If you don’t like Mac, don’t get one. If you don’t like PC, don’t get one. It doesn’t mean you’re an idiot or a certain kind of person.
And as far as it being “an inferior machine,” I only bought one because I had bought a PC laptop when Vista came out 4 years ago, and within a week it wasn’t working at all and I had to return it. I didn’t even download anything.
So I got a MacBook, and have had it for four years, and it works fine. Once, the harddrive failed and I had to get a new one. Guess what I did. I went in to the Apple Store, they told me it needed to be replaced, and they gave me a new one, installed it for me, and reinstalled the Apple programs I told them I had bought. They didn’t charge me anything. I didn’t have a warrantee. Would that have happened if I had a PC?
Also, I download shit all the time, and I have never had a virus. Never had a virus. Now I’m not a computer expert, but I can tell you that, having used computers frequently since childhood, this is the best one I have ever had. It’s fast, it runs intuitively, and it doesn’t fucking destroy itself from ordinary usage.
Considering those benefits, I think it was totally worth it to have paid more for the machine originally. I feel it has more than compensated for the cost difference over the years.
And the reality is that no company is altruistic. Mac is an “evil company” like virtually all others; why is there so much animosity towards people who own an Apple product? It’s such a shallow and stupid thing to pass judgement on someone for. It’s a fucking computer. Why is everyone so goddamn concerned about brands?
You’re pissed off because most people in your class are using a different operating system than you? Seriously? And it means that they are fundamentally and universally different than you? Yeah, ok.

i agree with savanna… obviously! :)
